Cryo-Electron Microscopy: Deciphering Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is celebrating the opening of the Cryo-EM center in association with CIBC and the Center for Biotechnology. The celebration will take place on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Pascal Great Hall at the Wick Alumni Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) in order to commemorate the acquisition and installation of our 200 kV Glacios Cryo-EM Transmission Electron microscope. The all-day symposium will highlight the exciting breadth of life science research that is being driven by Cryo-EM approaches. Our goal is to bring together leading scientists working across the spectrum of Cryo-EM methodology and application to address a broad audience of Nebraska researchers and celebrate the grand opening of the UNL Cryo-EM core facility. The day’s schedule will include coffee breaks, Lunch, and an evening reception. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about the Cryo-EM to attend the free symposium and we look forward to celebrating the Cryo-EM core facility.
